These programs are produced by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and instructed by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service who is contracted by FEMA to teach these programs, participating students are then required to take a pre-written exam and then at the completion of the classes a final written exam is administered. Under Pa Title (35) under emergency management, specifically the municipal appointed Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) has (1) year after the Pa Governor’s appointment to have completed certain required classes to then recieve basic certification! SREMA team members that not required by Pa State law to be enrolled in these classes are in the classroom as well so that your SREMA staff are well trained. With the knowledge & experience that the SREMA brings to the table, your team continues to respond when alerted for emergencies! PREPARED-RESILIENT & READY for any sudden emergency affecting the residents and visitors quality of life within the communities in which we serve! Serving both East Donegal & Conoy Townships with pride!
